Spicy Calabrian Shrimp Kabobs
Flavorful, juicy, and a snap to make
Take your guests on a sensory trip to Italy's coastal sunbaked Reggio Calabria region, where spicy Calabrian chilies, sweet basil, pungent purple heirloom garlic, and piquant pecorino are produced in the rich Mediterranean soil.
Garlic Butter:
- 1/3 cup melted butter or 1/3 cup Green Olive Company Garlic Infused Olive Oil as a healthier alternative
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon freshly chopped parsley (stems removed)
Instructions:
1. Pre-soak skewers in water for 30-60 minutes
2. Combine all Marinade Ingredients in bowl and whisk. Allow shrimp to marinate for 30 minutes.
3. Preheat grill to high, then turn it down to 275 F-300 F.
4. Thread the shrimp onto skewers and grill 2-3 minutes per side with lid closed
5. Drizzle with melted Garlic Butter mixture when serving for a luscious finishing touch.
