Ingredients
-
2 pork tenderloins (about 2 lbs total)
-
3 Tbsp flavored olive oil (suggestion: Tuscan Herb or Garlic)
-
3 Tbsp honey
-
¼ cup flavored balsamic vinegar (suggestion: Black Cherry, Fig, or Cranberry-Pear)
-
2 Tbsp Umami Spice Blend
-
1 tsp kosher salt (or to taste)
-
Fresh thyme or rosemary sprigs (for garnish)
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a roasting pan with foil.
Rub pork tenderloins with olive oil, 1 ½ Tbsp of the umami spice, and a pinch of salt.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear pork on all sides until browned (about 2–3 minutes per side).
Transfer the pork to the roasting pan. Roast for 15–20 minutes, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
While the pork is roasting, prepare the glaze: In a saucepan, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, honey, and ½ Tbsp of umami spice. Simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Brush the glaze over the pork during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
Rest the pork for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh herbs.
